As a teaching assistant here, you will have the unique opportunity to encourage pupils in their journey of faith, modelling a meaningful relationship with Jesus that is real and relevant.

We’re looking for a patient, caring, and enthusiastic teaching assistant, with the ability to work with individuals or small groups across the age range, helping the teacher as required. As a TA the role may involve:

• Working 1:1 to support pupils, in or out of the classroom
• Supervising small group work
• General in-class support
• Break/lunch duties

The role is flexible and will be matched to the skills and availability of the successful candidate. It will involve some in-class support with our Foundation class on a minimum of two days from 8:30am-10:30am. Additional hours will be with other year groups. The King’s School has its own pay scale, with contributions to an employer’s pension scheme and healthcare cover available to all staff.

A clear commitment to the Christian ethos of the school is essential. There is a Genuine DfE registered Occupational Requirement (GOR) that the post-holder is a Christian. Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010 applies.
